Here are several pizza-themed gift options ranging in price from less than $10 to $1,000, suited for pizza enthusiasts of all kinds, whether they want to prepare or merely eat it! If your planned gift recipient enjoys cooking, be sure to browse the Gifts for Pizza Cooking section in particular.
Why should you care what I think?
I adore pizza, prepare it every week, and experiment with a new portable pizza oven around once a month for this blog and my YouTube channel. Pizza occupies way too much space in my brain—and stomach! —but is there really such thing as too much pizza? I doubt it.
Edible Pizza Gifts
Mike's Hot Honey
This item is delicious to sprinkle on pizza. There's no actual restriction to what kind of pizza you can use it on, but it's particularly good on cheese, pepperoni, and other meat-based pizzas. Even my mother drowns her pizza in hot honey, which is surprising to me because she does not generally seek out sweet or spicy foods... and this is both! (It's not particularly hot, though. )
Calabrian Chili Paste
Calabrian chilies are popular, and after you try them on pizza, you will see why. This product is a bit spicier than the hot honey, so if you have any worries about spice tolerance, I would suggest the hot honey over the Calabrian chili paste. However, if you (or your gift recipient) have a reasonable amount of spice tolerance (approximately equivalent to being comfortable eating "medium" spicy food at a Thai restaurant), you (or your giftee) are likely to enjoy this. However, be aware that this product is meant to be applied on pizza before baking.
Gifts for Making Pizza
Dough Scraper
When I first saw a dough scraper, I wondered, "What is the point of this? I already have a spatula for scraping the inside of a bowl. " Oh, how mistaken I was! I was amazed at how helpful my dough scraper was when making pizza dough. Is it necessary? No, it isn't. However, the finest presents are sometimes those that the recipient would never consider purchasing for themselves, even if doing so would improve their life in some little manner.
Bench Scraper
I didn't think I needed a bench scraper until I had one, much like the dough scraper. Many years ago, my wife presented me with a bench scraper as a Christmas present. And I use my bench scraper all the time—not only to make pizza, but virtually every time I chop something finely on my cutting board. It is much simpler to sweep the small chopped pieces (or a pizza dough ball) up off my cutting board with my bench scraper rather than my hands!
Stand Mixer
If your giftee is creating pizza dough by hand or with a low-cost stand mixer, it may be time to upgrade! You can't go wrong with a tried-and-true Kitchenaid. I've had my Kitchenaid Professional for over a decade and it is still working well. When choosing a stand mixer for preparing pizza dough, in addition to overall quality and durability, you should consider the mixer's rotations per minute (RPM). When making pizza dough, a slower speed between 115 and 150 RPM is ideal, depending on the type of dough hook you use. This KitchenAid model includes a dough hook and excellent speed control, but keep in mind that some other models require you to buy the dough hook separately.
Cookbooks
My two top cookbook gifts recommendations are:
- Mastering pizza is beneficial to all pizza enthusiasts. This cookbook has wide appeal—it's difficult to see how someone could enjoy pizza yet not appreciate this book. It's verbose, but has lots of yummy-looking images. It might serve as a lovely coffee table book, or you can use the recipes to create pizza.
- The Pizza Bible is for anyone who is serious about learning how to prepare delectable pizzas in a variety of styles at home. Only a regular household oven (with a broiler capable of reaching 550°F) and a pizza steel are required.
If you're interested, I have a more comprehensive guide to pizza cookbooks.
A Pizza Steel
Do you wish to create virtually restaurant-quality pizza at home, but are unwilling to invest in a separate pizza oven? Pizza steel to the rescue! If your home oven includes a broiler capable of reaching 550°F, a steel is a great way to get started.
Aside from a pizza steel, you could consider a pizza stone or a cast iron pan—but we strongly recommend a steel if pizza is your primary goal. Before purchasing any steel, check the weight since it may be quite heavy!
A Pizza Oven
Are you willing to invest in a dedicated pizza oven? I'm familiar with all of the options available! I'm going to presume a few things: (1) the giftee has enough room at home for an outdoor pizza oven, (2) the giftee may want to make both New York and Neapolitan pizzas, and (3) propane is an acceptable fuel source. (Propane is the most popular and easy option for most people. )
The following are four recommendations with varying price points.
1 Gozney Arc XL (for pizzas up to 16")
The Gozney Arc XL is our top pick for outdoor pizza ovens after testing over 50 various portable ovens. Gozney is well-known for its excellent construction quality and beautiful designs. We adore the Arc XL because it is so simple to use—ideal for a newbie, but still a fantastic choice for someone more experienced. The lateral burner architecture offers precise, consistent control of your stone temperature while lowering the danger of burning your pizza. The XL is big enough to create 16-inch pizzas, which is my favorite method to keep a group satisfied and amused.
2 Ooni Karu 2 Pro (for pizzas up to 16 inches).
The Karu 2 Pro is ranked second in our list, trailing the Arc XL by a narrow margin. The two ovens are extremely similar, however the Karu 2 Pro offers more optionality than the Arc XL. The Karu 2 Pro offers the option of cooking with wood or charcoal. You must purchase the propane gas burner individually, which I strongly advise you to do since the gas burner is likely to see the most use! Nevertheless, having the option to cook with wood is useful if you want to experiment. Technically, a Neapolitan-style pizza cannot be called a true Neapolitan unless it is cooked with wood, although many consumers are unconcerned by this regulation. The Karu 2 Pro can bake pizzas up to 16″ in diameter.
3 Ooni Karu 2 (for pizzas up to 12 inches)
The Karu 2 is from the same product family as the Karu 2 Pro, but it is smaller and more inexpensive. The primary distinction between the two is that the Karu 2 can only produce pizzas with a diameter of 12 inches.
4. Solo Stove Pi Prime (for pizzas up to 12″)
The Pi Prime is our top option for a budget-friendly outdoor oven. It is propane-only and can bake 12-inch pizzas, but it cooks them just as well as an oven that costs twice as much. To obtain outstanding results with the Pi Prime, you'll need to practice a bit more than with an oven in the same league as the Arc XL. The build quality is inferior to the other ovens, but it is still fairly decent.

Pizza Themed Home Decor
Christmas Ornament
Every year, my family selects a new ornament for our Christmas tree. Our most recent selection was this adorable pizza slice from Old World Christmas, a business that has been producing ornaments for over 40 years. It's made of high-quality blown glass, is sparkling, and gives a touch of fun to our tree.
Decorative Sign
Despite my fondness for pizza, I am not so obsessed that I would hang pizzarelated posters on my walls or anything like that. However, I like this modest sign that clearly expresses my passion of pizza without being cheesy.
Pizza Gifts for Kids and Families
Picture Book
Every Night is Pizza Night is a children's book by the renowned J. Kenji LópezAlt. My wife and I read this book to our son several times when he was quite young. It's an excellent method to instill a passion of food in youngsters! This book is more than simply a celebration of pizza's deliciousness; it also teaches readers to be open-minded about less well-known cuisines from other cultures around the world.
Dice Game
This pizza-building dice game is easy to learn and simplified enough for a six-year-old. Spending a weekend afternoon eating pizza and playing board games is one of my favorite things to do!
Plush Toys
In my opinion, these two stuffies are the cutest pizza-themed plush toys. There are, however, an astounding number of alternatives!
Pizza Fashion
Clothing
A close friend gifted me this t-shirt for my birthday. It was quite apt and greatly appreciated! (Thanks, Andrea! )
Jewelry
This collection from Sydney Evan is the nicest (and expensive) pizzarelated jewelry I've seen. However, I find these realistic-looking handmade pizza charms to be far more appealing. They are created by Catharine Devine, a gifted miniature food artist from the Pacific Northwest.
Pizza Wrapping Paper
If you're delivering a pizza-related present, consider wrapping it in cheese and pepperoni wrapping paper or tissue paper to enhance the surprise.
